I’m father of Cyberabad, reiterates Chandrababu

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday claimed that his name had become synonymous with IT in the country. He also claimed that he had been for the development of IT sector in the country since the year 1984.

Responding for the first time on the sensational data leak case involving a company that developed Seva Mitra app for the ruling TDP, Naidu said Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was trying to teach him IT lessons. Noting that his government has enough know-how to protect the data of his people, Naidu said he was capable of protecting the secrecy of the data.

Chandrababu Naidu made these remarks while addressing a public meeting at Madanapalle. Naidu said he was shocked to see the highhanded attitude and over-excitement shown by the Telangana government and the Hyderabad police. “Is it a dictator State or a police state or a democratic State? I have never seen such incidents even during Congress rule. I have been working on the development of the IT sector since 1984. I am responsible for the introduction of IT reforms that led to the mobile phones that you all are using now. Our data is protected. I am speaking to 50,000 people every day. Can they (Telangana Government) tell us who has brought IT companies to Hyderabad and who built Cyberabad? They are trying to harass us based on a complaint of an unknown person,” he said.

Naidu warned that he would not leave CM KCR and YS Jagan if both of them hatched plans against him while making it clear to KCR that he was living in a different State. Naidu also vowed to take the responsibility of protecting all Telugu-speaking people from the across the world on his shoulders.
