Imran Khan’s oath-taking ceremony will be simple

Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf (PTI) and would be Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has decided not to gather foreign guests crowd on the occasion of his oath-taking ceremony so as to make it simple.

Pakistani daily Dawn reported that Imran Khan has decided to make oath-taking a simple ceremony. The buzz was that at first, the party had planned to invite a number of foreign delegates and chiefs of the countries including, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bollywood superstar Amir Khan, former cricketer Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar and Navjivat Singh Sidhu. However later changing his mind Imran Khan has decided not show much fanfare during the ceremony.

PTI spokesman Fawwad Chaudhry told that PTI Chairman has directed to maintain simplicity during the ceremony. He told that Mr Imran Khan will take oath in a simple function. It has been decided not to invite foreign personalities. And this will be a purely national ceremony, in which some close friends of Imran Khan and local authorities would be invited.
