India has left alone Jammu And Kashmir in difficulty, says Mehbooba Mufti

Srinagar: While addressing the 64th convention and exhibition of Travel Agents Association on Tuesday, Mehbooba Mufti said that the state has been left alone by India to deal with the difficult situation. “Jammu and Kashmir is going through difficult times. If you look at the world, there are issues everywhere. However, our problem is that the country has also left us alone.”

The chief minister of state said, “Our job is very tough. We are using only one way of fighting, that is a gun for a gun. The wounds inflicted in the process also need to be treated and if anyone can treat those wounds, it is the people of the country, it is you.”

She remembered her late father Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and said that he would always say that tourists in Kashmir were an investment in peace. She further added that the beauty of Jammu and Kashmir is losing its sheen during the past few years. Mufti accused the TV channels of exaggerating the condition that state is going through and said they are scaring people to visit J&K as tourists.
