New Delhi: A 34-year-old Indian man was arrested for sexually assaulting a 22-year-old woman passenger sitting next to him on an overnight Spirit Airlines flight on its way to Detroit from Las Vegas.
The US Police has arrested Prabhu Ramamoorthy living in the United States on temporary visa on Wednesday on charges of aggravated sexual abuse on woman passenger after he exited the Spirit Airlines flight at the Metro Airport.
Detroit Free Press reported the woman passenger complained that she woke up to find her shirt and pants unbuttoned with a hand in her pants. She immediately reported the abuse to the flight attendants.
The miscreant was seated in the middle seat next to his wife, with 22-year-old victim seated in the window seat. The victim told the investigating officials that she woke up to find Ramamoorthy’s hand inside her pants and he reportedly stopped after the victim woke up, reported Times Now.
