Indian Navy on high alert after receiving inputs on LeT planning attacks

New Delhi: Indian Navy is on High alert following an intelligence input of possible attacks and invasions of Lashkar-e-Taiba(LeT) terrorists entry through waters.

According to the reports received today, the LeT is planning attacks on installations like ports, cargo ships and oil tankers in India through the sea, Times now reports.

The report was published in Hindustan Times which claims these terrorists are also being trained in swimming and deep diving by the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).

Back when Mumbai was attacked, the 26/11 accused David Coleman Headley had revealed shocking details about the 10 terrorists who attacked the night of November 26, 2008.

He said these terrorists were trained by Pakistan Navy’s deep sea divers.

Now as per intelligence inputs received, Navy and the Coast Guard are on high alert and have learnt that LeT’s affiliate organisations like Falah-e-Insaniyat Foundation, Al Dawa Water Rescue, Life Line Water Rescue and Rescue Mili Foundation have been training terrorists in deep water diving at several locations in Punjab province since June this year.
