INDO KUWAIT FRIENDSHIP SOCIETY ASKS NORKA TO OPEN OFFICE IN KANNUR AND REMOVE RESTRICTIONS FOR THE ATTESTATION

Kuwait :Indo-Kuwait Friendship Society, a leading non-profit socio cultural friendship association in Kuwait whose Chief Patron is Rajindar Sachar, Former Chief Justice of Delhi High Court has asked  NORKA to remove restrictions on the attestation as well as sent memorandum to Government of Kerala addressed to Chief Minister  Sri Oommen Chandy and NORKA Minister K.C. Joseph to open an CERTIFICATE AUTHENTICATION CENTRE in Kannur instead of regional office.

Advocate Sayid Nizar, Vice President of IKFS said in a press release, that “we can’t understand why NORKA is making so many complicated procedures for the certificates attestation?.  There are authorized agencies for attestation of certificates and they must be allowed to notarize the authentication.  Attorney Nizar said that presently  for authentication, NORKA restricts  Certificate holders should come personally, along with their Photo Identity Card or Parents of the applicant or  Brothers and Sisters of applicant or  Applicant’s Spouse or  Father in law – Mother in law while producing their marriage certificates?

We want to know why the aged parents and in laws to come personally on behalf of Applicants? What benefit NORKA is getting out of it? Suppose NORKA should allow any authorized attestation centers to collect and produce the certificates instead of  strictly making difficulties to come to their Centers.  There is no logic since we are living in the 21st century while all the online facility system is available.? Therefore, on behalf of NRIs we are asking the concerned authority to take immediate decision to allow attestation agencies while relieving the NRI applicants for this uncivilized method of NORKA.

WE UNDERSTAND  that both CBSE and Kerala Educational Boards are having stored details of each applicants in their “servers” for the past 20 years and a key press with the applicants’ registration number could be traced thru  online system for their results in the 10th and 12th class examinations?

Therefore IKFS hereby asking to implement the system immediately without any failure.
