Telangana BJP president Dr K Laxman today said the country was on the path of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing the media after welcoming Anil Reddy, an industrialist from Karimnagar district to the party, Laxman said the Prime Minister successfully provided corruption-free government at the Centre. He also claimed that the people all over the country were rejecting the Congress party. Predicting victory in the Gujarat elections, Laxman exuded confidence that his party would also wrest power in Telangana after 2019 elections.
Earlier, Anil Reddy from Huzurabad in Karimnagar district, with his supporters joined the BJP in the presence of Laxman and other leaders at the BJP State office at Nampally. Besides MLC N Ramchander Rao, State party vice-president Mallareddy and other leaders were also present on the occasion. (NSS)
