Infant raped, killed in Indore, public thrashes accused outside court

Indore: After the incident of rape and murder of an infant, public including lawyers thrashed the accused outside the court on Saturday. In order to control the situation, more force was deployed.

According to the report published in Times of India, they shouted ‘Kill him, Kill him’. Police tried to control the situation but public kicked and punched the accused. Public also went behind him after the accused tried to run covering his head. After hearing of the case, the accused was sent into police custody for two days.

Meanwhile, the bar association declared that no one will defend him.

Eight-month-old girl raped & killed in Indore

In a horrific incident, an eight months old infant was raped and killed in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore. Her body was found in the basement of Shiv Villas Palace. The accused has been arrested. According to Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Indore, Harinarayanachari Mishra, “Victim’s family didn’t name the accused as a suspect, who is victim’s uncle in relation. Initial suspects were ruled out by Special Investigation Team (SIT) and he was arrested”. It is said that the accused had an argument with victim’s mother after which he committed the crime.
