Interim bail of 3 accused in Akbaruddin attack case extended

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday extended the interim bail to three convicted accused in the Majlis-E-Ithehad-ul-Muslimeen (MIM) legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi attack case to 22 days more. Following the death of Younus Bin Omer Yafai on February 20, two of his sons Abdullah Bin Younus Yafai,Awad Bin Younus Yafai and younger brother Hasan Bin Omer Yafai who are detained in Warrangal and Cherlapally central prisons were granted 14 day interim bail to take part in the funeral rites.

While the interim bail was ending on March 8, had again filed a petition before the High court and sought the extension of interim bail till March 31 since the forty day ceremony (Chehlum) of Younus Yafai is fixed on March end.

Justice T Rajni of Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday has passed orders extending interim bail to till March 31.Younus Bin Omer Yafai was the elder brother of Mohammed Bin Omer Yafai aka Mohammed Pahelwan, on February 20 he died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Domalguda.

On June 29, last year the VIIth Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Dr.T.Srinivas Rao found guilty four accused Hasan Bin Omer Yafai Accused No 2. (Younger Brother of Mohammed Pahelwan), Abdullah Bin Younus Yafai Accused No. 3, Awad Bin Younus Yafai Accused No. 5 and Mohammed Bin Salem Wahlan under various IPC sections and Indian Arms act. However Younus Yafai was acquitted in the case.
