Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister K Tarakarama Rao today said fiber internet facility will be provided to every household in the cities. He said the Mission Bhagiratha program will be completed as scheduled and potable safe waters as well as internet facility will be provided to every household.
The minister held a meeting with working agencies and engineering officials at Begumpet here. Speaking on the occasion, KTR asked the officials to launch simultaneous works for supplying safe waters and internet facility in towns and cities. He said the Mission Bhagiratha program will be launched as per plan. As part of the scheme, benefits of T Fiber Project will be offered to households in towns and cities.
MAUD Minister directed the officials to take up simultaneously works of internet cable laying along with water pipelines in municipalities and corporations. He also asked for speedy preparation of financial estimates for the internet facility to be provided to every household in the cities and towns. He hoped that T Fiber works will lead to revolutionary changes in the State. The minister stressed the need for implementing Mission Bhagiratha and T Fiber works to see significant changes in the villages, towns and cities in near future. (NSS)
