Tehran: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin said Iran and Russia can work together to restrain America.
A trilateral meeting of Russia, Iran and Turkey was held in Tehran which focused on the Syrian province of Idlib, the last stronghold of active opposition to the government of President Bashar Assad.
Reuters quoted Khamenei as saying, “One of the issues that the two sides can cooperate on is restraining America.” He further said, “America is a danger for humanity and there is a possibility to restrain them.”
Iran’s Supreme Leader said the sanctions imposed by US against Iran, Russia and Turkey has provided a golden opportunity to all three countries to collectively fight against US.
