Iran: Responding to US threats to stop importing Iranian Oil to countries across the globe, Iranian President on Tuesday threatened to block oil shipments from neighbouring countries if the US blocks Iranian Sales.

A senior commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said on Wednesday that they are ready to implement the policy which would block regional oil exports, Middle East Monitor.

Confirming President Rouhani’s statement, Major General, Qassem Soleimani also the External Operations Commander in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards said the country is ready to implement such a policy if required.

“I kiss your hand for making such wise statements that came on time, and I am at your service to implement any policy that serves the Islamic Republic” said Soleimani.

In the past, Iranian officials have threatened to close a major shipping route – the Strait of Hormuz reacting to the hostility of US against Iran.
