Furious at Israel for carrying out attacks in Syria against the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani had yesterday warned Israel that it will regret attacking the government forces and the Guards deployed in Syria.
“The Zionist regime has been trying to establish a crisis in Syria and has taken steps to directly support terrorist groups and target the Syrian army and forces who are confronting terrorism,” he said, adding, “And if it continues, it will face reactions that will cause regret.”
Mr. Shamkhani was in Tehran to attend a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Nikolai Patrushev, MEM reports.
