MUMBAI: News of Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan providing assistance to renowned actor Irrfan Khan that went viral on social media turned out to be a hoax.
According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan spent two hours with ailing Irrfan and also gave him the keys of his London house so that the actor and his family could feel at home during his treatment.
According to Bollywood Bubble, the Hindi Medium actor’s spokesperson has refuted the reports. The statement reads,“The story floating around of Shahrukh and Irrfan is a fragment of imagination of some individual who has whipped out the story through their unreliable sources. It has no truth to it. While the duo are friends, the story of their meeting and the subsequent incidents has no truth.”
Irrfan, battling the health crisis was recently honoured with Best Performance in a Leading Role (Male) category at the IIFA 2018 for his film Hindi Medium.
The critically acclaimed actor took to his Twitter handle to post a thank you note. He wrote:
