Hyderabad: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy today said those involved in the sensational honour killing of Pranay for marrying Amrutha should be boycotted from the society. He consoled the bereaved family members in Naglonda district along with MP B Lingaiah, MLAs Bhaskar Rao, G Kishore and offered all help to the kin of Pranay from the government.
Talking to mediapersons later, Jagadish Reddy said the State government will provide financial help and succor to the kin of Pranay. “We have directed the officials concerned to provide Rs 8.25 lakh cash, a two-bed room housing facility and agriculture land to the kin of Pranay,”
the minister said. The Collector concerned was asked to take requisite steps in this regard, he said. He said the police could nab the culprits in a few hours and justice will be done.
