Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy today expressed displeasure at officials concerned for failing to complete works of roads and Mission Kakatiya in Suryapet district.
He held a review meeting at Secretariat today and directed them to complete Mission Bhagiratha Paleru scheme works by December 31 and internal pipeline works in villages. Though Rs 1000 crore was allotted, the road works are at sluggish pace and negligence will not be tolerated, he warned. He also asked them to start fourth phase of works of Mission Kakaitya program in the district.
The minister expressed anguish at the officials for not speeding up the Dacharam junction road works and directed them to give notices to work agency on Kusumavarigudem and Sheetipalem road. Mini Tank bund works on Saddual Cheruvu should be completed without any delay, he said. The minister asked them to take permissions for Paleru-Musi checkdam and Musi modernization works and prepare proposals of Pullareddy cheruvu mini tank bund works. He directed them to complete works of roads in the district as planned. (NSS)
