Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party president and Leader of the Opposition in AP Assembly Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was injured in a knife attack in Visakhapatnam airport lounge this afternoon, was being treated in City Neuro Centre here.
The surgeons in the hospital performed a surgical operation and closed the deep wound on his left shoulder with three sutures. The doctors advised Jagan to have complete rest for 24 hours. Jagan’s wife Bharati and his relatives were staying with him in the hospital. The police made elaborate bandobust at the hospital as a stream of his party activists, leaders reached the hospital as well as his party office at Lotus Pond in Banjara hills and were enquiring about his health condition.
