Jagan plans six-month padayatra from Nov. 2

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said he would take up six-month “padayatra” from November 2 from Idupulapaya to Itchapuram.

Addressing thousands of youths, students and intellectuals at the Yuvabheri meeting being held at MYR function hall on Bellary road on the outskirts of Anantapur town, Jagan demanded special status to Andhra Pradesh State. He also said he would make his MPs to tender resignations as a last weapon on special status issue. He said Yuvbheri meetings would be held in every district across the State. The Leader of Opposition called for an unrelenting fight for a special status to Andhra Pradesh.

Setting the agenda for the Yuva Bheri being held here, YS Jagan said the fight for special status will not end until it is achieved. He said the future of lakhs of youths is depends on special status as it can attract more investments and create more jobs in the state. He lambasted the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for compromising on the special status issue with the Centre for his own political interests. (NSS)
