Jagga cries for solution to city traffic problem

Hyderabad: Congress MLA from Sangareddy T. Jagga Reddy today demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao initiate urgent steps to prevent vehicular traffic congestion in the entire city. He urged the CM to hold a review meeting on the issue with officials concerned and find a solution to ever-growing problem. He also said his party was ready to lend ideas to address the perennial problem.

Speaking to mediapersons here, Jagga Reddy faulted the ruling party leaders for throwing blame on the Congress party for the traffic chaos in the city and advised them to focus on addressing the problem. He wondered what the TRS government was doing to address the problem despite the people gave GHMC 100 corporators to it.

Highlighting the seriousness of the traffic woes in the city, Jagga Reddy said there was no scope to give way to an emergency ambulance in the city. Referring to the statement of GHMC Commissioner Dana Kishore that the residents of the city should not come out of their houses when it rained, he wondered how the citizens would know the dates and timings of rain in the city.
