Hyderabad: Sangareddy MLA from Congress Toorpu Jayaprakash Reddy popularly known as Jagga Reddy, who was dilly-dallying on the issue of joining the ruling TRS, on Thursday made sensational remarks over his continuation in the Congress.
Jagga Reddy has claimed that the family members of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and K Tarakarama Rao have invited him to join the ruling party. He also said full details about his political future weather he would be in Gandhi Bhavan or TRS Bhavan would be known between May 25 and May 30. Stating that the State would be in a safe zone if it was under Congress Government, Jagga Reddy said he would convey his decision to Chief Minister KCR’s family members when they meet him after Lok Sabha election results.
Jagga Reddy refuted the reports that he was deliberately trying to join the ruling TRS party. He claimed that he had won the elections on his own and not on the basis of his party’s symbol. He made it clear that he would listen to the party candidates and take a decision on his own later.
