Washington: The former FBI director James Comey has likened the president Donald Trump to a mafia boss in his new book “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies and Leadership”. Comey’s book will be released next Tuesday. Comey has published the book 11 months after he was fired by Trump.
Comey revealed that Donald Trump works like a mafia boss, he wants complete loyalty towards him, he feels the entire world is against him and he is a liar.
The publication of the book has expected to bring fresh turmoil to the White House and can add to the troubles of Trump.
In the 304-page book, Comey likens Trump’s presidency to a “forest fire” and repeatedly paints Trump as a mafia-style boss. Comey says that “because he never stops talking”, Trump “pulls all those present into a silent circle of assent”.
Former FBI Director in his memoir paints the president as living in “a cocoon of alternative reality.” Throughout the book, Comey writes that Trump showed all the hallmarks of a congenital liar. He blasts President Donald Trump as an “unethical” pathological liar who is obsessed with personal loyalty, like a mob boss.
