New Delhi: According to the Round University Ranking (RUR) Subject Rankings, Jamia Millia Islamia is 6th best institution for social sciences and 7th best for humanities in the country.
This ranking by Round University Ranking (RUR) Subject Rankings is given after evaluating the performance of 761 world’s leading higher education institutions by 6 broad subject areas: Humanities, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences and Social Sciences.
All the universities are assessed by 20 indicators and 4 key areas of university activities including teaching, research, international diversity and financial sustainability which are the parameters for RUR World University Rankings also.
As reported by Okhla Times, among all the 4 key areas of university activities, JMI scored maximum in teaching and research for both social sciences and humanities.
On the global level, JMI has got 365th rank in the world for the study of social sciences and for humanities JMI’s world ranking is 521 according to RUR subject ranking.
