New Delhi: A programme was organised by Sir Syed Study Centre and Jamia Nagar RWAA to discuss the law and order situation in Jamia Nagar of Okhla. New SHO of Jamia Nagar police station Upendra Singh was invited to get acquainted with the problems.
Speaking on the occasion former teacher of Jamia Millia Prof N U Khan apprised the audience about the problems of security in the area. Expressing concern over the situation the speakers told that the area has become a hub of rowdies who remain in contact with the police. Musharraf Husain told the SHO that drugs abuse is fast increasing in the area.
SHO Jamia Nagar Upendra Singh patiently heard about the problems and assured to take action in this connection. He said he will not leave without ending rowdyism and crimes from the area.
