New Delhi: President Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind Maulana Syed Arshad Madani distributed 40 houses among Kerala flood victims and handed over the keys to the beneficiaries. Besides, he announced that 26 more houses are under construction which will soon be distributed among the needy. Apart from Muslims, Hindu and Christian victims also got the houses.
A grand function was held by local Jamiat Ulama at Kannur, Kerala. Maulana Syed Arshad Madani attended the function as chief guest and addressed the public meeting. He said the world says Islam is the religion of terrorism while the fact is, Islam not even one per cent related to terrorism. He said that he believes that the world fears Islam hence it distorts the image of Islam.
