Jaisalmer: US President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner arrived in the desert city of Rajasthan.
The couple reached Jaisalmer for the underwraps wedding of his former flatmate and friend Nitin Saigal of US hedge fund Kora Management.
Nitin and Jared, Harvard class of 2003, are reported to have shared an apartment in New York after being roommates for three years at Harvard.
According to a report in Times of India, Saigal is marrying Vedika Bhaskar, daughter of Delhi industrialist Sanjay Bhaskar.
Jared Kushner landed via New Delhi at Jaisalmer airport that was crammed with security — over 20 American and 100 Indian security personnel pretty much took over the tiny airport. Kushner was accompanied by 12 others for the events.
The high-profile wedding of the US-based NRI industrialist’s son and business baron’s daughter is a three-day affair till November 24. The wedding events will be held at hotel Suryagarh and Marriott.
It is mentioned that the American delegation along with Kushner will stay in Jaisalmer till November 24.
