Washington: Jason Patric is all geared up to act in an immigration drama, ‘Bonded’.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the 51-year-old actor will play a cop, Officer Stevens, who doesn’t always play by the rules.
The film will revolve around a young Mexican teenager’s immigration hardships and will portray how the teenager is enslaved and forced to work in deteriorating conditions with other illegal immigrants after being brought to the US.
Based on true events, the drama will be produced by Lucas Akonsin and Luke Daniels and executive produced by Jorge Vergara.
The film is made by writer-director Mohit Ramchandani. (ANI)
