Washington: American singer Jessica Simpson is all set to welcome her third child with former NFL star husband Eric Johnson.
The 38-year-old star shared the first picture of her baby bump on her Instagram account. Simpson captioned it: “My Baby Love.”
The pregnant singer was glowing in a long multi-coloured dress with bell sleeves which she paired with black sunglasses and soft waves.
In another post, Simpson revealed that it’s a baby girl for the couple alongside sharing a photo of her two kids–Ace Knute (5) and Maxwell “Maxi” Drew (6).
“This little baby girl will make us a family of five. We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life,” she wrote.
A source told PEOPLE about the family’s reaction following the news, saying, “They are so excited. Maxwell and Ace cannot wait – and it was a very happy surprise.”
In April, Simpson candidly talked about her marriage and her kids to Entertainment Tonight, admitting that she had “baby fever” but having another child “would definitely have to be a bit of a miracle.”
“We always practice,” said the singer, disclosing they “don’t really know” if they’ll have a third child but that she is “very attracted” to her husband.
Simpson and Johnson welcomed their first child back in 2012 and Ace was born a year later. The two got engaged in 2010 and finally tied the knot in July 2014.
