Khunti: Security forces killed one Naxal following an encounter that broke out here on Thursday.
According to the information, the encounter took place in village Maronbir of Rania region in the district.
Troops of the 209 CoBRA special ops recovered the body of the Naxal along with 1 heckler and Koch 33 weapon.
A search operation is underway.
