Jio GigaFiber high-speed broadbands registrations are officially open now, which allows you to show your interest in the service. Jio GigaFiber provides speeds up to 1Gbps according to the company, it was announced last month.
The Jio broadband service had been in testing for the past couple of years, with users reporting download speeds of over 700Mbps. It will be launched in 1,100 cities across the country, but there is no date yet for the official rollout.
The company will install a Jio GigaRouter at your home or office. The company says users will be able to stream 4K videos and play VR games on the network.
Heres how to register for Jio GigaFiber broadband
1. Log on to the official Jio website’s, GigaFiber page.
2. Register yourself by entering your address, after you enter your address and hit the Submit button, the screen will still show the default address. Select whether the address you have entered is your home or work address.
3. Now enter your name and phone number, and Generate OTP.
4. Enter the OTP and select the type of locality (Society, Township, Developer, etc) and click on Submit.
Now you are done with Jio GigaFiber registrations and have expressed for interest in your area. For now, users can only register their interest for the Jio broadband service; the company will give priority to areas with the highest interest for the rollout.
