Jitendra Singh hits out at Pakistan for ceasefire violation

Udhampur: The ceasefire violation by Pakistan shows its frustration, said Union Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Dr Jitendra Singh here on Monday.

“Pakistan is under dire pressure now. The Government of India is taking strong steps against Islamabad, which cannot be publicised,” said Singh.

Lashed out at the Congress after the party claimed that IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan got maturity as a pilot during the UPA regime, Singh said: “The Congress should also take the credit for the birth of Wing Commander Varthaman, as the party has ruled for more than 55 years since India’s independence.”

The Union Minister also hailed the Indian armed forces by saying that BJP has never politicised the Army, and has always respected it.
