J&K: ‘They asked for food and clothes’ says local who encountered Terrorists

Jammu: A Deputy superintendent and 12 security personnel are reported to be injured in a search operation which killed 3 terrorists in Kakriyal belt of Jammu on Thursday.

The search operation continued for two days after the 3 terrorists opened fire at the forest guard on Jammu-Srinagar Highway on Wednesday, NDTV reported.

The security forces were tacking their activities after the attack using drones and helicopters.

While one of the villagers from Nagrota-Jhajar area said the 3 terrorists a had reportedly barged into his house on Wednesday.

“Three terrorists entered my house at around 8 pm yesterday and threatened us not to tell anyone about them. They said they had not eaten for the past five days and took biscuits and apples from us,” said the local resident.

“They were wearing torn clothes and were carrying weapons. They also took clothes from us. They asked us for a car and offered money but we do not have a car. Soon after they left,” he added.

They later left for the forests leaving behind an AK rifle.
