JNU authorities working on RSS agenda

New Delhi: The scrapping of foreign languages course including Arabic and Persian by Jawaharlal Nehru University is being condemned by one and all. People feel that the present government, instead of doing productive and constructive works, is working on the agenda to ruin a particular community. It wants to completely hamper the educational growth of Muslims particularly madrasa students.

Ex-minister of Delhi Haroon Yousuf claimed that the central government is implementing only that policy of the Human Resource Development Ministry which is cooked by RSS. Hence RSS people are given key positions in each university. They are made to do only that which Mohan Bhagwat wants. The move will thwart the efforts to link madrasa students with mainstream education, he said.

Member All India Muslim Personal Law Board and ex-Chairman Delhi Minority Commission Kamal Farooqui said the bias against the language of a particular community will be destructive for the integrity of the nation.

Former director NCPUL Prof Khaja Ikramuddin said a large number of students were taking admission in Persian and Arabic hence scraping the course is uncalled for.
