Joblessness problem grave in urban areas: Kodandaram flays govt for multi-talk

Stating that unemployment problem was severe in the urban areas, TJAC chairman Prof. M Kodandaram today alleged that the State government was saying a different word everyday on government vacancies.

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Prof. Kodandaram asked the government as to why it didn’t announce job calendar of filling vacant posts. He said the government was working for the sake of a few contractors.

Revealing details of ‘Koluvulakai Kotlata’ meeting to be held on December 4 at Saroor Nagar Stadium here, Kodandaram said they made all arrangements for the meeting to held from 1pm to 6pm on Monday. The venue of the meeting was named as Amaraveerula Pranganam and the dais named after Srikantha Chary Dais. He said they have invited leaders of Congress, BJP, TDP, CPI, CPM, CPI (ML-New Democracy) and other peoples’ organisations to the meeting. He said they will discuss the unemployment problem and set an agenda for the political parties through this meeting. (NSS)
