Join other than Engineering and Medical courses, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Dr. Fasihuddin advise

Hyderabad: Addressing the students on the occasion of distribution of Indo-British Muslim Education Foundation (London) scholarships, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily admitted that the girls of our community are performing better in the field of education and they are getting 70-80 % scholarships. Citing the two year past example of a girl student who had topped the entrance test of IIIT, for whom financial assistance was given for the first time, subsequently, some MNCs came forward with sponsorship and job assurance.

Mr. Zahid Ali Khan advised the youths to come forward to join courses other than Medicine and Engineering like journalism and electronic and print media.

At the beginning of the function, Dr. Fasihuddin Ali Khan, founder chairman of Indo-British Muslim Education Foundation (UK) highlighted the issues confronting the Muslim community. He further told that for the past two decades, he has been encouraging the students by awarding scholarships.

He applauded the effort of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan for encouraging the students. He said that along with the toppers of SSC and Intermediate classes, other meritorious and deserving students were given scholarships of Rs. 2000 and Rs. 1520. A blind student was also given a scholarship and a merit certificate.

Mr. Zahid Ali Khan promised to provide financial assistance to this blind girl student.
