MAKKAH: Videos and photographs of Queen Rania of Jordan, wife of King Abdullah ll, performing Umrah with female orphans circulated over social media platforms.
According to media reports, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah accompanied on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, a group of women and female orphans who benefit from various charitable societies in the governorates in the Kingdom to perform Umrah at the Makkah.
She also joined them on the four day journey in Saudi Arabia, visiting religious sites.
Photos from the pilgrimage were posted on her official facebook page, whereas video taken from a mobile of the women at the Grand Mosque went viral on social media.
