Bhopal: Vidarbha Hockey Association played out a 4-4 draw against Bengaluru in their Pool A clash on Day Five of the 8th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship 2018 (B Division) here on Tuesday.
Goals for Vidarbha were scored by Palak Sawaimul (28′, 31′, 43′) and Yadnya Sangole (56′), while Kaveri Lenkannavar (6′, 46′), Laxmi S Chigadolli (38′) and Navya DJ (40′) scored for Bengaluru Hockey Association.
In Pool B, Manipur defeated Gujarat 13-0 to take the top position in the standings. Goals for Manipur Hockey were scored by skipper Pushpa Mayanglambam (33′, 43′, 46′, 55′), Nirupama Thounaojam (29′, 41′, 44′), Shileima Chanu Khaidem (33′, 45′, 54′), Daina Devi Ningombam (7′), Pritampyari Devi Shanglakpam (17′) and Silvia Chanu Kangjam (63′).
In Pool C, Andhra Hockey Association beat Bengal 3-0 to register their second win of the competition. Goals for Andhra were scored by Jyothi Undabanda (14′), Roshitha Pulicharla (44′) and Maheswari Balagonda (68′).
