UP Judicial Services: 13 Muslim candidates including 7 girls clear exam to become judge

New Delhi: Thirteen Muslim candidates including seven girls cleared the Uttar Pradesh Provincial Civil Service Judicial examination. The result of the exam was declared on 13th October.

It may be mentioned that the written exam was held from 18th to 20th December 2016 and personal interview from 13th September to 05th October 2017. Total 218 candidates cracked the examination.

According to the report published in Muslim Mirror, following are the details of successful candidates.

Ms. Rumana Ahmad

She secured 15th rank in the exam after completing graduation from Aligarh Muslim University.

Ms. Nagma Khan

Ms. Nagma who had done LLM from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, got 29th rank. She is a resident of UP’s Sambhal. Her father is engine mechanic.

It may be mentioned that she was earlier invited for lectures in Switzerland, Australia and Japan.

Ms. Sameena Jameel

She is also a resident of UP’s Sambhal. She stood 34th in the exam. Her father, Jameel Ahmad was an employee at UP Secretariat. Her brother, Mohsin Jameel is a DSP.

Ms. Zeba Rauf

Ms. Zeba who belongs to Rajput Muslim family got 35th rank. She is a resident of Hapur of Uttar Pradesh. She was supported by her father Rauf Ahmad and brother Samiullah Khan.

Ms. Arshi Noor

A resident of Etah, Ms. Arshi secured 117th rank. Her father was an administrative assistant at District Court.

It may be noted that she was appointed as Assistant District Prosecution Officer (ADPO) at Bulanshahr. During her preparation, she did not take any coaching.

Ms. Anjum Saifi

Ms. Anjum who got 159th rank is a resident of Muzaffarnagar.

When she was four-years-old, her father was killed for standing against extortionists. He wanted Anjum to become a judge.

During the studies, her brother supported her. In order to fulfill the dream of his father, Anjum’s brother did not even marry.

Ms. Kisa Zaheer

Ms. Kisa who is a resident of Lucknow stood 74th in the exam.

Six Muslim boys also cleared the exam this year. They are as follows:

Atif Siddiqui              36th rank

Navaid Muzaffar         46th rank

Zeeshan Masood        64th rank

Tanweer Ahmad         136th rank

Mohammed Arif         162nd rank
