Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao today distributed appointment orders to 392 Assistant Engineers who qualified TSPSC examination.
At a program at Secretariat here on Wednesday he gave away the orders and asked them to deliver the goods to the people. The Government is committed to serve the people with all amenities such as roads, water, power, sanitation and others. Every will get a road facility and grama panchayat with a building he said.
With the appointment of the new AEs our department is strengthened to offer better services Krishna Rao asserted. The Minister asked the junior engineers to get mingle with officials to offer better services with complete coordination as the government is for the welfare of the people at all levels.
The new AEs will get three months of training before going to offer the services he said adding that roads in rural areas will be laid on priority basis using rural employment guarantee scheme. Rao also said that steps have already been taken to ensure that funds of the village panchayats are taken and officials concerned were asked to do so. (NSS)
