Director General Anti Corruption Bureau A K Khan warned Hajj aspirants against the deception of private tour operators and said that approaching tour operators without information can deprive them of lakhs of rupees. Talking to media persons A K Khan said every year a number of incidents are coming to fore regarding cheating of private tour operators. Last year 15 to 20 such cases came to light.
Mr. Khan advised Hajj aspirants to collect receipt after making payment otherwise it would be difficult for the police to extract the amount. He also asked the aspirants to approach trustworthy tour operators in case they are not selected by the Hajj Committee.
