Kailash Satyarthi to launch ‘Bharat Yatra’ against child sexual abuse

Hyderabad: Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi will launch ‘Bharat Yatra’ to spearhead the fight against child trafficking and child sexual abuse across the country. He said the yatra was the manifestation of his belief in ‘Surakshit Bachpan-Surakshit Bharat’. The yatra, which will be held between September 11 to October 16, will pass through 22 states covering 15,000 Kms and union territories over 35 days.

The yatra will be flagged off from Kanyakumari on the 11th of September from the Vivekananda Memorial and will be culminated in the national capital on 15th of October. During the yatra, schools, colleges, universities, hostels and localities will be visited and parents, boys and girls will be interacted.
