NEW DELHI: When CPI candidate, Kanhaiya Kumar files his nomination papers for the Begusarai Lok Sabha seat on Tuesday April 9, it would be a star-studded one as Bollywood celebrities expected to attend the jamboree.
According to Hindusta Times reports, as the former president of JNUSU will be joined by celebrities, Bollywood stars and political activists such as the poet, lyricist Javed Akhtar and his wife, a noted film, TV and theatre actress Shabana Azmi, Swara Bhaskar and Prakash Raj, claimed a close associate of Kanhaiya.
“We expect them (Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar) to come for the April 9 show,” said Prince Kumar, younger brother of Kanhaiya.

The famous Bollywood couple however, yet to confirm their participation.
“Prakash Raj, a multilingual film actor and a known Modi critic is expected to come,” said Prince, adding Swara Bhaskar, is also expected to attend Kanhaiya’s nomination.

“Among those certain to be there on the day of nomination are young leaders Hardik Patel and Jignesh Mevani,” said zealous Prince.
Gurmehar Kaur, a student activist and Shehla Rashid Shora, a politician and PhD student at Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi are also figure in the tentative guest list to attend Kanhaiya’s nomination.
Fatima Nafees, the mother of Najeeb Ahmed, a JNU student who went missing under suspicious circumstances, is also expected.
