Bengaluru: Congress leader, Bhavana Ramanna left the stage in protest against stopping election speech for “Azaan”. After the video went viral on social media, many netizens criticised her.
According to the report published in Jantaka Reporter, in the video, she can be seen speaking to a colleague. Later, she left the stage.

It is also reported that she wants to contest from Chitradurga constituency.
It may be mentioned that earlier too, many politicians paused their speech for Azaan. In November 2016, Congress President, Sonia Gandhi stopped her speech and covered her head with Sari after she heard “Azaan”.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had paused his speech midway as soon as Azaan began from a nearby Masjid.
