The communal violence in Kasganj and similar other incidents have tarnished India’s legacy of brotherhood and unity in diversity. In such an atmosphere, the common, peace-loving citizens of India have an added duty to counter distrust and animosity among people of different faiths.
So let us come together to reassert our oneness and declare that we stand with, and for each other.
Let’s all assemble at the Gandhi Pratima at GPO, Lucknow and form a human chain till UP Vidhan Sabha on Sunday, 11th February, 2018.
This is a people’s initiative and everyone is invited to be a part of it. However, all participants will be present in their individual capacity as citizens of India. No political or organisational banners/slogans are allowed.
