Kashmir IGP: Pakistan recruiting Militants through social media

Srinagar: Kashmir IGP Munir Khan on Thursday said that neighboring nation Pakistan is using social media to recruit militants in Kashmir.
While briefing the media about anti-militancy Operation Kund, he said, “Relentless social media campaign has been started by Pakistan to lure youth to join militancy.”
The anti-militancy operation that is being carried out in the forest area of Haalan-Kund area of Qazigund, in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Referring to the operation he said, “Three terrorists have been arrested alive in this operation.”
He said an army soldier and a militant during the first day of the operation and, “We think two more militants are still hiding in the area, so operation is going on” Khan said.
The arrested militants identified are Atta Mohammad Malik, Shams ul Wiqar and Bilal Sheikh.
Khan said that Atta was arrested in injured state and is presently hospitalized.
