Baramulla: Displaying brotherhood in the midst of a violent environment, Muslim villagers gathered to attend final rites of a local Kashmiri Pandit in Bimyar village of border town Uri.
Late Sham Sundar Lal, served as Numberdar of Bimyar village for several decades passed away on Wednesday evening at his home.
Lal lived in a Muslim dominated area along with his family. Hundreds of Muslims reached his home on Thursday morning, to help the family perform the last rites of deceased as per Hindu rituals
