Kavitha accuses TDP of dividing people

TRS MP K. Kavitha has accused the Telugu Desam Party of dividing the Telugu people for the sake of votes.

Speaking to media persons after reviewing arrangements for public meeting at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad on Saturday, Kavitha said that the TRS Government was treating all citizens of Hyderabad equally. However, she said TDP leader Nara Lokesh tried to create differences among the people on regional grounds. She also ridiculed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s claims on development of Hyderabad. She said that the previous TDP regime did not provided proper drainage system although it claims to have constructed Hitech City.

Kavitha also suggested that the suicide of Rohit Vemula should not be politicised. She said that the TRS would express its reaction on the issue after the GHMC elections. (INN)
