TRS MP Kavitha today planted a sapling at Moinabad on the city outskirts. She poured waters on the sapling after planting it as part of the flagship Harithaharam program.
Speaking on the occasion, the MP appealed to the people to plant at least one sapling on their premises and protect environment. The Government has taken up a massive green drive to expand its stretch from 26 per cent to 33 per cent to get more rains and fight pollution she noted.
Kavitha also asked the Schools, colleges, educational institutions, government and private offices to encourage the greenery program to overcome pollution problems. MLA Yadaiah, officials and local people were present. (NSS)
