Nizamabad MP Kavitha today released a CD of “Sammakka-Saralamma Divya Charithra” brought up by Telangana Jagruthi cultural wing. The CD was launched as the biennial Tribal festival will be held in Medaram from January 31 to February 3.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha said history of Sammakka and Saralamma was the brave story came up from the layers of the soil. The two deities fought for self-respect and shown courage and inspiration to present the generation, she said.
She also appreciated K Srinivas and his team for bringing out the CD on the big tribal festival to be held on a grand manner in Telangana State. The State government made elaborate arrangements for the tribal festival, she added. (NSS)
