KCR Cheated Muslims: Dattatreya

Hyderabad: Former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya on Thursday said that the ruling TRS party’s president and Chief Minister KCR has cheated the Muslims of the state by promising 12 percent reservations to them. He said that it was not correct on the part of the CM to make baseless allegations against the Central government, despite knowing that it was not possible as per the constitution of India.

“KCR is quite aware of the fact that religion based reservations are not possible as per the constitution of India. Despite this, KCR is making baseless allegations against the central government,” he said. Addressing media persons, he said that the party would constitute a fund of Rs.5000 crore for the welfare of BCs in the state, if their party came into power in the state. Dattatreya also said that they would form another fund with Rs.10,000 crore for the welfare of the farmers of the state. He further said that they would focus on Makthal, Narayanpet and Kodangal lift irrigation projects, besides promising the transformation of existing government schools into kendriya vidyalays.

The former union minister also said that they would constitute a regulatory authority to regulate fee in corporate medical colleges and hospitals in the state. Commenting on Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, who has been hailed as the mother of Telangana state, Dattatreya said that she was not the mother of Telangana, but the mother of Congress party leaders and its president Rahul Gandhi.
