KCR dissolved assembly only to make KTR next CM: Revanth

Hyderabad: TPCC working president A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday alleged that Caretaker CM KCR had dissolved the state assembly with the sole intention of making his son and minister KTR as the next chief minister of the state. He made these remarks while addressing media persons in his assembly constituency kodangal ahead of party president Rahul Gandhi’s public meeting in his constituency on Wednesday.

He said “it is norm for any CM to hold a plebiscite before dissolving the house in his state. But our CM KCR doesn’t show any regard to our Indian constitution. His only intention is to make his son as the CM of the state and he dissolved the house for this sole purpose.” Speaking further, he alleged that KCR misused his power to increase the properties of his family members. He also alleged that KCR harassed all separate Telangana state fighters for a period of 52 months. He further alleged that the ruling TRS party has a secret alliance with rival BJP and MIM parties in the state for the elections. He also alleged that it was KCR who had stalled the railway line project meant for his constituency. Reddy called upon the people of the state to make Rahul Gandhi’s meeting a grand success while noting that the public meeting being held in his assembly constituency was a symbol of development.
